I absolutely agree that we need to tap into our intuition! Its what the animal kingdom does and it seems society, media and trends have taken away the innate abilities we have. I have always acted on my intuition to stop when consuming alcohol, eating meals and sugar intake since i was a child and I contribute a great deal of my not needing to watch my weight to this! I am very in tune with my “shut off switch”.
